| Description | The South Carolina Department of Transportation (SCDOT) is proposing improvements to I-26 beginning just south of the Caw Caw Road interchange at Exit 136 and ending south of the US 601 (St. Matthews Road) interchange at Exit 145. As of December 19, 2023, construction is expected to begin in Summer of 2025 and last approximately 30 months. *Project information has been obtained through a public capital improvement plan (CIP).
