Description

The City will evaluate RFPs and make a selection based on the firm's technical ability, experience, and ability to perform the work. The City will not provide compensation or defray any costs incurred by any firm related to the response to this request. The City reserves the right to negotiate with any and all persons or firms. The City also reserves the right to reject any or all RFPs, or to accept any deemed most advantageous to the City, or to waive any irregularities or informalities in the RFPs received, and to revise the process schedule as circumstances arise. Proposals will be opened and tabulated on August 16,2022 at 11:00 A.M. in the Council Chambers at City Hall on the second floor. Mandatory Pre- Bid Meeting August 8, 2022 at 11:00 A.M. Public Works Building 213 North 20th Street East St. Louis, Illinois 62205 Latest Time to Submit- August 12,2022 Request for Interpretation Latest Time to Issue August 14, 2022 An Addendum Scope of Work: The proposed improvements consist of the removal and replacement of existing pavement, asphalt overlays, leveling binder, new aggregate base placement. Additional work included storm sewer removal and replacement, new storm sewer structures, structures adjust to grade, removal & replacement of sidewalks and curbing, curb & gutters, placement of ADA standard handicap ramps, curb shall be installed at all quadrants indicated on the intersection. Contractor shall strictly follow all rock compaction standards to prevent future pavement base faulting. Contractor shall provide by-pass pumping and dewatering as necessary. By making a proposal on the Project, the Bidder represents that the Bidder has examined the Scope of Work. Each proposal shall be completed on the form furnished by the City.
