Description

Southern Nevada Water Authority Request for Proposals - Construction Manager at Risk for Stage II: Sloan 2160 & Lamb 2350 Pumping Stations Expansion The Southern Nevada Water Authority (Authority) is soliciting proposals from qualified and interested firms for Construction Manager at Risk (CMAR) services to provide pre-construction and construction services for Stage II Reliability Upgrades at Sloan 2160 and Lamb 2350 Pumping Stations, located in the northeastern and eastern portions of the Las Vegas Valley. OPINION OF PROBABLE CONSTRUCTION COST: $45 Million USD (Class 5 Estimate) The Stage II Sloan 2160 and Lamb 2350 Pumping Stations Expansions work requires the installation of four pump trains at both the Lamb and Sloan Pumping Stations. The pump trains consist of a pump, motor, coupling, cone valve with actuator for pump control and suction and discharge piping. Additionally, Motor Control Centers, Programmable logic controllers, instrumentation and other ancillary devices will also be installed for each pump train. Electrical system additions will be installed at Sloan Pumping Station to provide redundancy and reliability to the station and equip the station to operate all pumps in case of emergency conditions. Upon evaluation of the existing cooling system, heating and cooling systems may be modified or new systems installed. PN - 3152S
