The proposed project will be a competitive, firm-fixed price, Design Bid Build contract. An award will be made to the lowest, responsible bidder whose bid, conforming to the invitation for bid, will be the most advantageous to the government. The North American Industrial Classification System code is 236220, which has a size standard of $39.5 million. The contract is anticipated to be awarded in September 2022. To be eligible for contract award, a firm must be registered within the System for Award Management (SAM) database. Register via the SAM Internet site at https://www.sam.gov/. No state level certifications will be accepted. Update: 6 June 2022: The magnitude of construction is estimated to be between $10,000,000 and $25,000,000. The Government is seeking qualified, experienced sources capable to construct a small Vehicle Maintenance Facility with a 35-ton overhead crane, tactical organizational vehicle parking, organizational storage facility, petroleum oil lubricants (POL) and hazardous waste storage facilities, and a Vehicle Wash Facility with apron and Hardstand at Camp Bullis, Texas. Supporting facilities include site development, utilities and connections, lighting, paving, parking, walks, roadwork, Low-Water Crossing, drainage, and landscaping.
