Asphaltic Concrete

Asphaltic Concrete Mix for cold weather use. The materials will be used for repair of wet or dry potholes in bituminous or concrete surfaces. The materials shall be suitable for use from a stockpile and workable in cold weather The Cold Mix material shall be composed of crushed aggregates which confirm to the specifications below, and Unique Paving Material special blends of liquid asphalts, tempering agents, wet coating additives, and other proprietary additives which are manufactured in an approved and certified asphalt batch plant under the direction of the Sylvax Corporation* of their representative. The bituminous mixture shall be capable of coating wet aggregates without stripping and shall be available from stockpiles located in Jackson County, Missouri on a year-round basis. The product shall be guaranteed to stay in 90% of all potholes, no matter how poor the weather or the moisture conditions of the cavity. The Successful Contractor(s) shall submit with his bid a copy of the company guarantee.
