Kemper County Courthouse ADA improvements

Principal items of work include modifications for accessibility improvements including demolition, exterior concrete sidewalks, stairs, and railings, terrazzo floor repairs, stucco and plaster repair, interior restroom demolition and renovation, ceramic tile, rough and finish carpentry, doors and hardware, elevator controller and finishes, and MEP modifications. Bids must be submitted in duplicate on the form included in the Project Manual and must be accompanied by a bid guarantee of at least five percent (5%) of the bid. Bidders shall also submit a current financial statement, if requested, by the Owner. The successful bidder will be required to furnish a Payment Bond and Performance Bond in the amount of one-hundred percent (100%) of the contract amount. No proposals may be withdrawn after the scheduled closing time Kemper County reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive informalities whenever rejection is in the best interest of the owner.
