Description | Replacement of Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) systems at 25 school buildings. This is inclusive of physical equipment purchases, managed services for removal, replacement, and proper disposal of existing equipment. The successful vendor must dispose of electronic equipment in accordance with the R2-RIOS guidelines. The vendor shall provide a certificate of disposal upon completion of the project. Prevailing wage is required and Certified Payroll shall be submitted with invoicing. Removal, Disposal and Installation Services Proper Disposal shall include the following: * Successful vendor must dispose of electronic equipment in accordance with the R2- RIOS guidelines. * Vendor shall photograph and label units for disposal. * Vendor shall document the serial number and asset tag number of each piece of equipment to dispose and provide District 300 with a spreadsheet with this identifying information by location. * Vendor shall remove disposed equipment from District 300 property. * Vendor shall not use District 300 refuse receptacles for equipment disposal. * Additionally, vendor shall remove all wrappings of new equipment and dispose of same in District 300 receptacles. Installation services should also include asset tagging equipment and providing reporting of assigned asset tag, physical location, and serial number. District 300 will provide the asset tags. If using a subcontractor for removal, disposal and installation services, these services should be billed against the submitting vendor's SPIN number. All services will need to occur outside of building business hours if scheduled prior to 6/1/22. If installation is scheduled during District 300’s summer break, this can occur during normal business hours. A project manager should be dedicated to the entire removal, disposal and installation services project to work with District 300 administration on planning and scheduling. |
