Transitional Residence Roof Replacement

Provide construction services /alterations necessary for the replacement and repair of the roofs, including soffits, gutters, and downspouts for various residential Hampton Veterans Administration Transitional Residential - Work includes, but is not limited to, removing existing shingles and pertaining underlayment, proper cleanup and disposal of all removed materials; installation and removal of temporary protective measures for vulnerable HVAC & serviceable roof drainage components), installing Class A fungus and stain resistant fiberglass-asphalt shingles with minimum of 130 mph wind rating and 30-year manufacturer warranty, and associated synthetic roof deck protection underlayment; repair or replacement of damaged / unserviceable soffits, rake boards, flashing and associated vents, replacement of rotted or otherwise unserviceable roof decking (not to exceed 15% of total roof area without written VA approval); removal and replacement of unserviceable gutters & downspouts (to match existing). The contractor shall provide the equipment, supervision, and expertise required to perform all work in compliance with VA design guidelines.
