Annual Scale Maintenance

Vendor's pricing shall include, but not limited to, calibration equipment, calibration certificates, test trucks, shipping, trip charges, mobilization, labor, tools, travel or trip charge time, materials, supplies, licenses, fees, insurance, warranty and any other associated direct or indirect cost. The following is the scope of work necessary for calibration, maintenance and repair of inbound and outbound scales and two tunnel scales located at the Alachua County Transfer Station in the Leveda Brown Environmental Park (LBEP) at 5115 NE 63rd Avenue, Gainesville, FL and a floor scale located in the Materials Recovery Facility (MRF) located in the LBEP at 5121 NE 36 Avenue, Gainesville, FL. 1.1 Inspection, Calibration and Certification of Scales 1.1.1 Perform inspection, calibration and certification on both the inbound and outbound scales at Transfer Station and MRF floor scale four (4) times per year (one per quarter) and/or when authorized. Calibrate two (2) tunnel scales (certification is not necessary) four (4) times per year (one per quarter). 1.1.2 Weight calibration to assure scale accuracy (5 scales) 1.1.3 Weight indicator calibration (5 indicators) 1.1.4 Certify scale is accurate as per Florida Department of Agriculture guidelines.
