Maintenance Dredging at Wilmington Harbor Inner Ocean Bar

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Wilmington District requires a contract to provide Maintenance Dredging at Wilmington Harbor Inner Ocean Bar, Brunswick County, North Carolina, number W912PM22B0020. Description of Work: The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Wilmington District requires a contract to provide maintenance dredging along Wilmington Harbor Inner Ocean Bar in Brunswick County, North Carolina. The required work for Wilmington Harbor Inner Ocean Bar shall consist of maintenance dredging of Bald Head Shoal Channel Reaches 1 and 2 with an estimated quantity of 1,000,000 cubic yards. The work will require the removal and disposal of shoaled material that has accumulated since they were last dredged. The dredging shall be performed by a hydraulic cutter suction dredge and placed on Bald Head Island and possibly on Caswell Beach and Oak Island. Dredging depths are 44 feet plus 2 feet of allowable over-depth. The environmental window for pipeline dredging is 16 November to 30 April. This solicitation is UNRESTRICTED. The contract issued will be Firm Fixed Price. The Magnitude of Construction of this project is between $5,000,000 and $10,000,000. This solicitation will be issued in electronic format only and will be available on or about June 30, 2022. The bid opening date will be specified in the solicitation when it is issued.
