Bituminous Materials

The Town of Ogunquit is accepting sealed bids for paving roads and sidewalks with hot bituminous materials. All paving bids received must include separate prices for: 1. Per ton laid. 2. Hand work per ton. 3. Sidewalks per ton. 4. Curbing per ton. 5. Reclaiming per foot. 6. Milling per foot. The bid constitutes an offer from a Contractor. The Owner's acceptance of the offer, in whole or part within the time specified, by issuance of a "Contract Form". The successful bidder will be chosen at a public meeting of the Select Board. The bid shall be awarded based on the bid most advantageous to the Town and meeting specifications. The Select Board reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids and to waive any bid deficiencies as they may deem to be in the best interests of the Town, which includes but is not limited to quality of commodity, commodity's warranty, speed of delivery, and the demonstration service record of the vendor. The Town will notify the successful bidder within 20 days of the bid opening. (Payment will be rendered at the time of delivery and the title will be expected at that time.
