Bid Bond or Certified or Cashier's Check in the amount not less than 10% of the amount bid, but not exceeding $20,000. All bid guarantees shall be accompanied by an executed consent from an approved surety company, licensed to conduct business in the State of New Jersey, agreeing to furnish the required Performance, Payment and Maintenance Bond upon the award of contract. The work includes the furnishing of all labor, material and equipment necessary or required to complete all work set forth in the Specifications for the Interior and Exterior Coating of the Westfield Road Elevated Storage Tank and Altitude Valve Replacement. Work includes electrical connections, altitude valve and piping installation, storage tank modifications, and tank and support interior and exterior coating. Each bid must be enclosed in a sealed envelope addressed to Patricia L. Hunt, RMC, Township Clerk, Town Hall, 111 West Second Street, Moorestown, New Jersey 08057. The right is reserved to reject any or all Proposals, in whole or in part, or to make awards to such bidder or bidders, who, in the judgment of Moorestown Township makes the most advantageous bid and to waive such informalities as may be permitted by law. The work for this project consists of the following items: 1. Supply and install tank repairs and modifications 2. Provide interior and exterior coating for the elevated storage tank 3. Provide exterior containment and permits. 4. Provide interior heat and humidification. 5. Provide interior coating for the valve vaults and 6. Provide epoxy coating of the altitude valve and fill piping. 7. Provide tank leg and riser concrete repair and sealant 8. Provide temporary utilities 9. Apply the letters "MOORESTOWN" to both sides of the tank 10. Complete restoration of the project area B The above descriptions of work outline the general items and distribution of work and should not be construed as being all-inclusive. C. Prior to beginning construction the Contractor shall have arranged for the video taping by a professional commercial photographer, of the existing site condition and adjacent public and private improvements. Two copies of the tape shall be provided to the Owner prior to the start of construction. No separate payment shall be made for videotaping but the cost thereof shall be included in the unit prices bid for the various items listed in the bid proposal form. D. Work contained in the Contract shall include, but not be limited to, the following items: 1. Maintenance and protection of traffic within the project area for the duration of the project. 2. All other work of any type or description necessary for the completion of the project, whether or not specifically shown on the plans or called for in the specifications herein.
