Krier Center Door Replacement/Canopy Project

1. The Work will consist of project management, material and equipment procurement, pre-construction logistics planning, selective demolition, temporary construction, hollow metal doors and frames, architectural hardware, detention hardware, glazing, caulking and sealants, steel canopy structure, metal roofing and accessories, and painting for the replacement of selected hollow metal doors and frames at the Bexar County Krier Juvenile Treatment Center. 2. The work generally consists of removal of existing hollow metal doors and frames, and door hardware, and replacement with new hollow metal doors, frames and hardware. New doors and frames will be painted and existing frames where new doors are installed shall be repainted. Additionally, a new canopy with steel columns and beams, and a metal roof system will be installed. 3. Phasing the work will be required to complete the project. 4. The work will be completed in a secure area. All persons working in the area will be required to pass security checks. Tool inventory will be required. 5. Contractor shall be responsible for removal of all construction debris from site.
