Description 1. The construction of three new stadia facilities (baseball, softball, soccer), a new soccer practice field, relocation of existing shotput, hammer throw and discuss facilities, and a new maintenance facility. 2. The installation of utility infrastructure required to support the new athletics facilities. Utilities would include, but not be limited to, the following: domestic water, fire water, reclaim water (HDPE or PVC pipe), power, emergency power, teledata raceway, storm water, sewer, and natural gas installed by that utility. The scope of work may include HVAC piping between a central plant located within the larger soccer stadia/facility and satellite buildings (e.g. a centralized ground source heat pump system). Sewer work will potentially include a small packaged pump station. The scope of work will also include the construction of the road, and will generally not extend past the building side of sidewalks. 3. With the exception of the ice hockey arena, the University will construct facilities as budget permits, at the same time and concurrent with the enabling utility and roadway improvements. Project construction may be one continuous phase that is sequenced to minimize negative impacts to team practice, competition schedules and athletic seasons. The Scope of Work for the Construction Manager may include an additional design estimate for a future ice hockey arena.
