Description

The Contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, tools, equipment, supervision and applicable licenses and permits necessary to perform the Removal and Installation of a trash Baler at Edwards Air Force Base in a manner that will ensure the neat, orderly and professional appearance of facility 7996. The Contractor shall be responsible for the removal of the existing baler and placed into 40yd bin provided by the government and the installation of the new baler. Contractors will ensure appropriate disposal of items in addition to ensuring all areas are clean during removal/installation and after completion. Contractor shall be responsible for all HAZWASTE clean-up and must be state certified. Contractors will follow 412th CES Infrastructure flight directions. Baler specifications are as follows: a. HP- minimum 80HP b. Cylinder- minimum 10” c. Feed Opening- minimum 95”x56” d. Bale Chamber- maximum 60”x45”x30” e. Seconds per Cycle- minimum 15seconds f. Cycles per minute-minimum 4 g. Tons per hour- minimum 14 h. Hopper/Conveyor System- required i. 480V- minimum j. 200-250 AMPS
