| Description | Removal treatment services described herein. Theses stands have a sparse to dense clumps of a midstory component and timber has been harvested. Hardwood stems will be cut down that are over 2.5ft tall and less than 8” DBH. All pine species, except for longleaf & shortleaf, that are over 2 ft in height up to a maximum of 5.0 inches DBH in size shall be completely severed and removed from the stump. Dense pockets of longleaf pine regeneration may exist in portions of treatment units. In these areas, thin the longleaf pine regeneration (from 2ft tall to 5.0 in. DBH) to a 20ftx20ft spacing favoring the bigger diameter longleaf as residual trees |
