Motor Carrier Size and Weight (Mcsaw) Design Support

Consultant for a wide range of engineering, architectural and technical services to assist bringing to completion, as expeditiously as possible, various projects within the Work Program for the Motor Carrier Size and Weight (MCSAW) Office, and support the design, operations, maintenance and construction of its facilities. The MCSAW office operates and maintains a number of truck weighing stations and miscellaneous facilities throughout the State of Florida. Many of these facilities are in need of renovation, replacement, relocation or technology upgrades, which could include conventional static scales or new weigh in motion scale technology that will be deployed over the next 5 years. The Consultant shall minimize, to the greatest extent possible, the Department’s need to apply its own resources to assignments authorized by the Department.
