Description

As of October 13, 2022, an engineer has been selected for the project. Construction is estimated to take place in spring of 2023. *The closed solicitation has been included below for reference: This project involves improvements to comply with the Americans with Disabilities Act at the Township's Marlton Park. The proposed Phase 1 improvements include the following items necessary to comply with ADA: (1) Accessible Parking Spaces, Signage and Pavement Markings, (2) Repair of Existing Paved Paths, (3) New Paved Paths, (4) Accessible Ramp for Access to Playing Fields, (5) ADA Improvements to Existing Restrooms, (6) ADA Compliant Drinking Fountain and (7) Concrete Sidewalk. The project budget is $260,000 including construction, engineering and administrative costs. The Township is seeking engineering services to include surveying, design, preparation of bid specifications, assistance with bidding, construction administration, inspection services and as-built drawings. Proposals should address, and will be evaluated based upon, the following items/criteria and numerical point values: -successful provision of engineering services for similar projects 40 points -ability to provide comprehensive scope of services 30 points -ability to complete project by December 31, 2023 15 points -proposed cost of services including current staffing hourly rates 15 points Total 100 points The Township of Pilesgrove reserves the right to reject any and all proposals submitted. All costs related to preparation of the proposal response shall be borne by the proposer. Minority and women business enterprises (MBE and WBE) and Section 3 business concerns are encouraged to respond. The Method of Contractor Selection has not been determined at this Time.
