Description | The Boston Housing Authority (BHA) is seeking design and construction administration services for required envelope repairs and comprehensive window replacement at developments [227] Annapolis and [236] West Ninth Street. Specified Services(all chosen) Architect Engineer Time Period for Completed Project - 1154 The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time The work is estimated at $1,638,329.42 Technical questions may be directed to Franco Garofalo, Email fgarofalo@gda10.com, Tel 781-587-2170 The latest date for the AE to receive questions will be November 30, 2022. Project Sites: a. Annapolis Development (227), 52 Sumner Street, Boston MA 02125. b. West Ninth Street (236), 185 West 9th Street, South Boston, MA 02127. The Project consists of roofing replacements at six building, including all improvements as indicated on the drawings and specifications. The Work generally includes, but is not limited to, the following: 1. Roof replacement, including the following: a. Demolition of existing roofing and related accessories. b. Selective roof sheathing replacement c. Selective baffle installation d. New asphalt shingle roofing and flashing e. New gutters and downspouts f. Replacement of wood trim and fascia with new cellular PVC trim g. Replacement of soffit vents h. New insulated roof access panels in ceilings, including patching plaster and painting. i. Cleaning of existing rain leaders drains to basement cleanouts j. The Work includes repairs to existing landscaping and construction as required to restore the premises to the condition existing prior to start of construction. |
