| Description | Adding velocity reducing concrete baffles to an existing concrete flume, construction of 2, 3-ft wide curbed concrete flumes with concrete baffles perpendicular to the existing roadway shoulder, construction of a 3-ft wide curbed concrete flume parallel to the existing roadway shoulder, and installation of rock riprap along all flumes. Work also includes removing 890-LF metal beam guard fence (MBGF), 1 end treatments and replacing with 868-LF of (MBGF), 1 end treatments and 1 thrie-beam including construction of a 2-½-ft wide concrete mow strip along the MBGF. Incidental construction shall include excavation of existing soil for concrete flumes, removal of miscellaneous concrete and existing rock riprap, irrigation modifications and repair, and adjustments to existing water and electrical lines and boxes. |
