San Juan National Forest, Dolores Ranger District, Rmri Lower Glade Thinning.

The purpose of the Lower Glade service contract is to implement a cutting (thinning), skidding and decking treatment along with various slash treatments. Project can be implemented with both hand and/or mechanical means. The project area covers a total of 465.75 acres with bids all-inclusive of solicitation specifications. Award of acreage/unit will be decided on an individual basis. All acres/units should be bid as if a standalone task. Units are located on USFS (Public) Land West of the town of Dolores, CO. The Mancos-Dolores Ranger District is responsible for the project. The locations and boundary of the treatment unit is shown on the Contract Area Map in the solicitation. Contractors are to provide all labor, supplies and equipment to implement both the mandatory items as well as optional items.
