| Description | The purpose of this project is to complete the following general tasks: 1. Design a 45 million BTUH high-temperature water generator with ultra-low NOX burner and associated appurtenances in full accordance with the technical specifications outlined in Section 4 and with all applicable codes and standards. 2. Fabricate the generator. 3. Test the generator in accordance with the provisions of the most recent version of the ASME Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code. 4. Ship the generator to the University of Utah high-temperature water plant located at 20 South Medical Drive East, Salt Lake City, UT. 5. Unload the generator and place it in the high-temperature water plant. 6. Monitor installation of the generator, including connection to all piping, pumps, controls, fans, duct and electrical service. Installation to be provided by others. 7. Provide startup service for the generator, burner and appurtenances. 8. Test generator operation and emissions output to confirm compliance with technical specifications. 9. Provide all other tasks and services that can reasonably be expected to design, manufacture, ship, install, start and test a high-temperature water generator. |
