As-Needed Region Wide Scoping and Grant Writing Services-Grand

Location: Services will be performed at various locations throughout the Grand Region. The Grand Region counties include Allegan, Barry, Ionia, Kent, Lake, Mason, Mecosta, Montcalm, Muskegon, Newaygo, Oceana, Osceola and Ottawa Counties. As-needed services will include the following work: Preparing scoping packages suitable for submittal for the Highway Call for Projects (CFP) process in conformance with the MDOT Scoping Manual Tasks for each assigned project may include, but not limited to the following: o Attend project related meetings o Evaluation of existing conditions and related site visits o Document any environmental concerns within the project area o Evaluation of hydraulic concerns o Capacity and geometric analysis o Safety studies o Traffic operation studies o Freeway and non-freeway operations scoping tasks o Evaluation of fix options o Maintaining Traffic (MOT) Scoping Concepts o Cost estimating o Completing scoping checklists and documenting the design elements within the project area o Create a Project Quantity Spreadsheet (PQS) for each selected alternative within each submittal package.
