Description

Removal of existing site paving, topsoil, fill material, interior removals for remodeling, portion of exterior wall for connection of building addition, etc. as indicated in the construction documents. Construct the building remodeling, building addition, civil, landscape, structural, mechanical, electrical, fire alarm, IT/AV, interior finishes, etc. as indicated in the construction documents. The School Board will not consider, accept, or open a bid received after the date and time specified for bid submission in this advertisement for bid. The bids shall be accompanied by a sworn and notarized statement disclosing any familial relationship that exists between the owner or any employee of the bidder and any member of the Board of Education or the Superintendent of the School District. The board will not accept a bid that does not include this sworn and notarized disclosure statement. The bids shall also be accompanied by a sworn and notarized Iran Economic Sanctions Certification. The Board will not accept a bid that does not include this sworn and notarized certification. Crestwood School District's Board of Education reserves the right to accept or reject any and all Bid Proposals, either in whole or in part, to waive any informalities or irregularities therein, or to award the contract to other than the contractor(s) submitting the best financial Bid Proposal (low bidder), in its sole and absolute discretion. This project will be funded by federal monies under the Elementary and Secondary School Emergency Relief (ESSER). As a federally funded construction project over $2,000, this Project is subject to the Davis-Bacon Act, 20 USC 1232b, and the Contractor is required to ensure that prevailing wages are paid in accordance with that Act and its implementing regulations. Without limiting the breadth of the foregoing: (1) Contractor shall pay all mechanics and laborers employed directly on the site of the work, unconditionally and at least once a week, and without subsequent deduction or rebate on any account, the full amounts accrued at time of payment, computed at wage rates not less than those stated in the advertised specifications, regardless of any contractual relationship which may be alleged to exist between the Contractor or subcontractor and the laborers and mechanics; (2) Contractor shall post the scale of wages to be paid in a prominent and easily accessible place at the site of the work; and (3) There may be withheld from the Contractor so much of accrued payments as the Owner considers necessary to pay to laborers and mechanics employed by the Contractor or subcontractors on the work the difference between the rates of wages required by the Agreement to be paid laborers and mechanics on the work and the rates of wages received by the laborers and mechanics and not refunded to the Contractor or subcontractors or their agents.
