Description | Control system integrator is responsible for providing all control hardware, PLC's, graphical interfaces, measuring devices and instrumentation, control panels, computer hardware, programing, calibration, testing and all other work needed for a fully operating control system. Description: 1. Demolish existing lift station including wet well, dry well, all equipment, and controls; 2. Demolish existing control building; 3. Construct new lift station including wet well, valve/meter vault, controls, and all associated sewer and forcemain lines to connect to existing system; We performed our scope of services for the project in accordance with our Proposal Mr. Louwagie dated March 16, 2023, and authorized on March 17. The following list describes the geotechnical tasks completed in accordance with our authorized scope of services. Reviewing the background information and reference documents previously cited. Staking and clearing the exploration location of underground utilities. Bolton & Menk, Inc. selected and we staked the new exploration location. We acquired the surface elevation and location with GPS technology using the State of Minnesota's permanent GPS base station network. The Soil Boring Location Sketch included in the Appendix shows the approximate location of the boring. Performing one standard penetration test (SPT) boring, denoted as ST-1 to a nominal depth of 36 feet. Preparing this report containing a boring location sketch, logs of soil borings, a summary of the soils encountered, and recommendations for structure subgrade preparation and the design of the base slab. We performed this geotechnical evaluation concurrently with a Pre-Demolition Hazardous Building Materials Inspection which we will submitted under separate cover. The scope of our services was limited to: Visually examine accessible areas and identify locations of suspect asbestos-containing materials (ACM), lead-based paint (LBP), polychlorinated biphenyls (PCBs), mercury, and other miscellaneous hazardous material. Collect and analyze representative bulk samples of materials suspected of containing asbestos. Conduct limited LBP testing of potential re-useable components with painted surfaces suspected of containing lead (where applicable). Testing was accomplished by collecting paint chip samples and analyzing them for lead content. Assign a hazard rating based on asbestos content with respect to the materials condition, friability, accessibility, and hazard potential. Document the various materials' current conditions and estimated ACM quantities based on visual observation. Generate a final report documenting the sample locations, analysis results, conditions, estimated ACM quantities and recommendations. |
