Water System Improvements

The work to be done consists of furnishing all materials, equipment and labor for the construction of: Repairing and repainting one (1) 200,000-gallon elevated drinking water tank located off of Drinkard Street. The interior and exterior of the tank shall be cleaned, pressure washed, and repainted. Contractor shall install a pressure relief valve and containment system to meet emission control requirements. Repairs include tightening bolts and rods, installing bird spikes, replacing the roof vent screen, installing interior ladders, exterior ladder guard, access hatches, safety cable guides and other repairs. Time allotted for repair and repainting is 180 consecutive calendar days.

Division 05 -	Metals, Structural Metal Framing, Metal Decking.
Division 23 -	Heating, Ventilating, and Air Conditioning (HVAC), Facility Fuel Piping, Facility Fuel-Storage Tanks.
Division 31 -	Earthwork, Clearing and Grubbing, Grading.
Division 32 -	Exterior Improvements, Fences and Gates.
Division 33 -	Utilities, Storm Drainage Utilities.
