Description

To Provide Comprehensive Construction Management at Risk (CMAR) Services for the Bayou Vermilion Flood Control Project. This project will consist of the construction of detention ponds related to flooding resilience along or in association with Bayou Vermilion. The project will be phased into a minimum of two phases but potentially three phases depending on funding and permitting. A series of detention ponds will be constructed on land owned by LCG. The primary locations of the ponds will be off of Homewood Drive in the area of Bendel Road and Rue Fosse and along Duhon Road east of Micmac Lane and south of Ridge Road within Lafayette Parish. Both locations will consist of multiple ponds at each location. The work will include but may not be limited to the excavation of substantial quantities (up to 3,000,000 cubic yards for Phase 1 and up to 6,000,000 cubic yards for all phases) which the contractor will responsible for disposing offsite. Clearing and grubbing of the sites. Constructions of flow control measures including weirs, pipes, headwalls, valves etc. and other work incidental to project
