Annual Needs for Masonry Services

1. The Contractor shall provide all labor, materials, tools, equipment and any incidentals necessary to replace, install, remove or repair brick, stone, sand, gravel, or concrete at schools, offices and support facilities on an annual as needed basis. Contractor shall perform services to standards set forth in the Masonry industry. 2. When necessary, Contractor will provide an estimate for a specific project based on the unit prices set forth in the Contractor’s bid that includes a fixed fee and completion date. Work hours in estimate shall be subject to approval and acceptance by the Contractor Administrator or his HCS Maintenance designee. Project work shall be accomplished within documented timeline. 3. Extensions may be granted for completion of a project at the discretion of HCS when approved changes in the project increase the needed time for completion, when the project is suspended, or when the project is delayed because of conditions or acts of others that could not have been foreseen by, or which were beyond the control of the Contractor, its subcontractors, and were not the result of the fault or negligence of the Contractor or its subcontractors. If the Contractor believes it is due an extension, it shall submit in writing and in a timely manner, a request for the extension, which clearly explains the circumstances, which it feels, justifies an extension. HCS will review and approve or reject this request. 4. Failure of the bidder to meet requirements specified herein may result in the rejection of the bid at the sole discretion of HCS.
