Description | This project consists of approximately 22,000 LF of 8” sewer main lining and 444 service lateral “top-hat” repairs of various sizes (4” or 6”) for the purpose of rehabilitating the existing pipeline system. The project will eliminate groundwater infiltration into the city’s sewer system. Cured-in-place pipe (CIPP) is a sewer lining process that extends the useful life of sewer lines by installing a resin-impregnated tube into a deteriorated sewer. This process results in a seamless, jointless surface that adds strength to the pipe and significantly extends its usable life. Based on information received from a recent CCTV survey of the Victorville sewer system, it was determined that a number of sewer line segments throughout the city needed to be lined. |
