Description

Contractor shall complete all Work as specified or indicated in the Contract Documents. The Work is generally described as follows: The furnishing of all labor, materials, tools, and equipment necessary to construct Pumphouse 23 and appurtenant work. The Project includes the furnishing of all labor and materials for the construction complete in-place, of the following: o Masonry pumphouse building for four (4) municipal wells o Process piping and valves o Chemical feed equipment o HVAC and mechanical equipment o Electrical equipment and controls o Submersible well pump and pitless unit o Backup emergency generator o Site work. The provisions of MINN. STAT. 16C.285 Responsible Contractor are imposed as a requirement of this contract. All bidders and persons or companies providing a response/submission to the Advertisement for Bids of the Shakopee Public Utilities Commission shall comply with the provisions of the statute. The Shakopee Public Utilities Commission reserves the right to reject any and all Bids and to waive any Bids received without explanation. No Bid may be withdrawn for a period of 60 days. The website will be updated periodically with addenda, lists of registered plan holders, reports, and other information relevant to submitting a Bid for the Project. All official notifications, addenda, and other Bidding Documents will be offered only through the website. Neither Owner nor Engineer will be responsible for Bidding Documents, including addenda, if any, obtained from other sources. Immediately following expiration of the time for receiving bids, representatives of the Shakopee Public Utilities will publicly view Bids at an online Bid opening meeting.
