Kroch, Carl A. Library Rare and Manuscript Collections Water Detection System

1. Install a water intrusion detection, alarm, and status display system in the Cornell University Kroch Library Rare and Manuscript Area. 2. System to include programmable logic controllers, interface with Logical Control Solutions network engineer for remote data display, at Cornell’s remote energy monitoring and control system center. 3. Install interior drip-catching gutters to divert any leaks to leak detectors, install status display screens at multiple locations, and install fire stopping materials where conduits pass through walls or floors. 4. Commission the system to the satisfaction of the Cornell project manager, the engineer of record, the leak detection system vendor, the energy management and controls system supervisor, and the Kroch Library owner. 5. Interface screens will require the development of screen graphics by the contractor. Contractor will include an Allowance in the bid price for the service of Logical Control Solutions.
