Description | Hermiston School District is seeking General Contracting Services for the Highland Hills Elementary School Renovation Project. The Highland Hills Elementary School renovation project consists of work phased over the summer of 2023 (Phase 1) and the summer of 2024 (Phase 2). Phase 1, is primarily site work and includes; revised bus and parent drop-off areas, new and renovated parking, new stormwater facilities, new fencing and security, renovated courtyard area, new and renovated pedestrian canopies, removal of existing modular classrooms and a new covered play area. Phase 2, is primarily interior renovation work and includes; ADA barrier removal, security upgrades, interior renovations to the admin suite and library, HVAC upgrades to the North and South classroom buildings, and the installation of new playground equipment. The District is estimating a construction cost of $6,000,000 for the project. The outside of the envelope shall be clearly marked: "ITB 006-2023 Highland Hills Elementary School Renovation Project" All Bids shall be in the format requested and/or furnished by Hermiston School District, herein after referred to as District, or they may be rejected by the District. Interested firms shall have no unauthorized contact with District staff or Board Members during the solicitation process.
