Description

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Detroit District is seeking contractors for the Ott Story Construction, Dalton Township, MI The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Detroit District intends to issue an Invitation for Bid to Award a single firm fixed-price construction contract to provide for Environmental Remediation Services Construction project to implement system upgrade recommendations for the Ott Story Superfund Site Operable Unit #2 Groundwater Remedy in Muskegon (Dalton Township), Michigan. The scope includes the replacement of 5 existing extraction wells, installation of 15 new rehabilitation wells, and the abandonment of 48 existing monitoring wells, installation of above ground weatherproof enclosures for new extraction well piping and flow measurement equipment, upgrade and replacement of existing manifold piping and appurtenances in below grade extraction well vaults, replacement of system flow meters, installation of pressure gauges, install new emergency back-up power generator and control for the well network, upgrade of controls infrastructure to allow remote monitoring of the expanded well network, and abandonment of 36 monitoring wells. General Information: In accordance with FAR 36.204(f) the magnitude of construction is between $1 Million and $5 Million. This project is set aside for Full and Open Competition. The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code is 237110, Water and Sewer Line and Related Structures Construction, which has a size standard of $45 Million in average annual receipts. Approximate solicitation posting date: 14 April 2023 The solicitation package materials, documents, drawings, specifications, and attachments to the anticipated solicitation will be available only electronically and via sam.gov. Hard copy documents will not be supplied by the Government to any interested parties as a result of this solicitation.
