Description

The City of Newark's Department of Economic and Housing Development, is soliciting through the Fair and Open Process in accordance with the New Jersey "Local Unit Pay to Play" Law, N.J.S.A. 19:44A-20.4 et seq., Request for Qualifications ("RFQ") for SERVICES AS PLANNING CONSULTANT of a specialized nature to the Department of Economic and Housing Development. The Qualification Statement should be returned in a sealed envelope, box or other container which bears the name of the Respondent and should be clearly marked: RFQ for Services as Planning Consultant Attn: Allison Ladd, Deputy Mayor/Director of Economic and Housing Development The City of Newark reserves the right to waive any and all formalities or altogether reject any Qualification Statement as in the best interest of the City. Selections made under the Fair and Open Process shall be made to those Respondent(s) whose Qualification Statement is most advantageous to the City of Newark. Factors include, but are not limited to experience and/or reputation in the field, knowledge of the agency and the subject matter to be addressed under the Qualification Statement and contract and other factors determined to be in the best interest of the City of Newark. All awards are subject to City of Newark Municipal Council approval.
