| Description | Project Description: The project generally consists of the following tasks: installing approximately 15,410 linear feet of irrigation and landscape piping and approximately 370 sprinkler heads; saw cutting and patching of bituminous concrete pavement; excavating trenches in roadways and lawn areas, backfilling, and restoring surfaces; connecting to existing Connecticut Water Company (CWC) water mains at two locations for new irrigation mainline/services; coordinating water meter installations by CWC; installing one booster pump and ancillary equipment; installing electrical power and data cables for irrigation controls; scarifying lawn, providing and installing 4-inches of seeded topsoil, and erosion control measures; obtaining a Connecticut Department of Transportation (CTDOT) Encroachment Permit; maintaining and protecting traffic affected by the work on Bradley International Airport (BDL) property and in Schoephoester Road. | ||
