FCPP Lynden Hills Biofiltration Basin

The proposed project will collect storm water into swales from existing greenspace and pavement and direct it to a biofiltration basin. The storm water will be stored in open storage and infiltrated storm water will be stored in a storage layer underneath engineered soil. The total drainage area for the project is 95,789 SF (2.199 AC). The anticipated disturbance area is approximately 35,047 SF (0.805 AC). The stormwater system will consist of drain tile that will connect to outlet control structure with a restricting orifice that will discharge to existing storm sewer in West McKinley Avenue through an outlet pipe. The work generally includes, but is not limited to: Install and maintain approx. 1400 LF of erosion control measures, earthwork, including approx. 3000 CY of excavation and haul off of some spoils, approx. 2600 ton of stone, grading for the 300 SY bioretention basin, 80 LF of storm piping, 1-48' Manhole and 450 LF of perforated underdrain and approx. 2250 SY of topsoil and seeding for final landscaping, seeding of the bioretention basin, and other miscellaneous items.
