Description | Location: 325 Radiochemical Processing Lab, 325 Redwood St., 300 Area, Richland, WA 99354 Contract Type: Firm Fixed Price Basis of Award: Sealed Bid: Lowest Price, Technically Acceptable meeting the mandatory criteria stated below MANDATORY Contractor Qualification Requirements: Prime Contractor shall be pre-qualified prior to submitting bid; likewise, Subcontractors to a Prime Contractor performing work shall be prequalified prior to issuance of NTP. Note - An Experience Modification Rate (EMR) of less than or equal to 0.9 for Prime Contractor (1.0 for Subcontractors) and no willful OSHA/State Labor & Industries Citations over the past three years is needed to meet the pre-qualification requirement. To apply for prequalification BADGES & DOSIMETERS ARE REQUIRED - Please send an email to the Construction Management inbox (construction.management@pnnl.gov) at least 3 business days prior to the pre-bid walk to arrange for badging and on-line training requirements needed to obtain a dosimeter. Safety glasses are required for this walk down. SYNOPSIS The Work consists of replacing approximately 200ft of existing Galvanized ductwork with Stainless Steel ductwork above the ceiling on the first floor and in the basement, in the Radiochemical Processing Laboratory (325RPL) in the 300 Area. This work will demolish the existing galvanized ductwork, retain hangers, supports, and exhaust grills in Rooms 320, 325, 425, 91, 702 and Corridor 117, demolish Gypsum Wall Board at chase. Demolished ductwork will need to have the open ends wrapped/bagged, taped, and placed in a container (provided by PNNL) to be disposed of offsite. Replace Galvanized ducting with Stainless Steel, replace GWB, and paint to match adjacent walls. Inquiries: All inquiries shall be sent to: Melissa.newell@pnnl.gov 3.3.
