Main Street Intersections Traffic Signal Upgrade Phase I

This project contains three intersections on Main Street that are in need of traffic signal upgrades. The three locations include: Lincoln St. & Main St., Main Cross St. & Main St., and Sandusky St & Main St. All three locations are located within a quarter-mile of each other. These projects are driven by the need to replace and upgrade the existing traffic signals at the intersections by removing the existing poles & mast arms and replacing it with four new poles & mast arms to accommodate the equipment. During construction, maintenance of traffic, access to local residents and parking areas, and phasing of the work to limit traffic lane and sidewalk reductions will be major concerns This contract will include the installation of the traffic signal poles and mast arms along with all infrastructures to a point ready to accept the system wiring and equipment, which will be furnished and installed by the City of Findlay. The signal poles and mast arms will be supplied to the contractor by the City of Findlay.
