Liberty Township Park Waterline Improvements

The Project includes, but may not be limited to, the following major items: o 102 L F. 12" Casing Pipe o 1,488 L.F. 8" Class 200 SDR 21 PVC Waterline and Fittings o 102 L F. 8" Class 200 SDR 21 PVC Waterline w/ restrained joints o 12" x 8" Tapping Sleeve and Valve Actual estimated quantities for the above items and all other items for the project are listed on the Proposal forms. Each Bidder is required to furnish with its proposal, a Bid Guaranty and Contract Bond in accordance with Section 153.54 of the Ohio Revised Code. Bid security furnished in bond form shall be issued by a Surety Company or corporation licensed in the State of Ohio to provide said surety. Each Proposal must contain the full name of the party or parties submitting the proposal and all persons interested herein. Each bidder must submit evidence of its experiences on projects of similar size and complexity. The owner intends and requires that this project be completed no later than December 1, 2022. Bidders must comply with the prevailing wage rates on Public Improvements in Delaware County as determined by the Davis Bacon Wage Rates. Each Bidder must ensure that all employees and applicants for employment are not discriminated against because of race, color, religion, sex or national origin. All contractors and subcontractors involved with the project will, to the extent practicable use Ohio products, materials, services, and labor in the implementation of their project. Additionally, contractor compliance with the equal employment opportunity requirements of Ohio Administrative Code 123, the Governors Executive Order of 1972, and Governors Executive Order 84-9 shall be required. This project is required to comply with the American Iron and Steel (AIS) requirements. No bidder may withdraw his bid within sixty (60) days after the actual date of the opening thereof. Liberty Township hereafter defined as the Owner, reserves the right to waive irregularities and to reject any and all Proposals, to increase or decrease or omit any item(s) and to award to the lowest and best qualified Bidder. Each Proposal must contain the full name of every person or company interested in the same.
