Description

Renovation of a laboratory facility in Ithaca, New York. Working plans call for the renovation of a laboratory facility. Subject: 12305B22Q0087 Replace & Dispose of existing Chilled Water Coils THIS IS A PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE ONLY. The USDA-ARS Robert W. Holley Center for Agriculture and Health located on the Cornell University Campus in Ithaca, N.Y. is contemplating a firm fixed price contract for the replacement of failed Chilled Water Coils. The contractor shall provide all supplies, personnel, equipment, tools, materials, and supervision necessary to replace the existing Chilled Water Coils as described on the Draft SOW attached. IAW FAR 36.204(b), Disclosure of Magnitude of Construction Projects, the estimated price range of this project is between $25,000 and $100,000. Notice of Set-Aside for Small Business Concerns: The proposed solicitation will be a 100% Small Business Set-Aside. The associated NAICS Code is 238220, Plumbing, Heating, and Air Conditioning Contractors. The small business size standard is $16.5 million. Pre-Solicitation Site Visit: A pre-solicitation site visit will be held on Tuesday June 21, 2022, at 10:00AM (EST) at the project site located at: USDA-ARS, RW Holley Center for Agriculture/Health 538 Tower Road Ithaca, N.Y. 14853-2901 This will be the only site visit conducted. All interested attendees must email USDA's Technical Representative Michael Merchant prior to the site visit with the name and phone number of all personnel that plan to attend the site visit. All quotes will be due on or about June 24, 2022. Paper copies and paper proposals will not be accepted. Once the solicitation is posted, it will then become the responsibility of the interested parties to review the https://sam.gov site daily for any updates/amendments to documents. Any prospective contractor must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) in order to be eligible for award. To be considered, responsive offerors must register in SAM at https://sam.gov before submitting a quote. Instructions for registering are available at the SAM website.
