WATER SYSTEM IMPROVEMENTS; CONTRACT 21-01 - HIGHWAY 45 BYPASS WATERLINE o Approximately 1,005 L.F. of 6-inch waterline o Bored Crossings of Highway o Associated valves, hydrants, connections, meters, and appurtenances. The allotted time for construction for this contract is ninety (90) calendar days. Liquidated damages for non-completion are $500 per calendar day. Wauford & Company, Consulting Engineers, Inc., 60 Volunteer Blvd., Jackson, TN 38305, and Governor's Office of Diversity Business Enterprise, Central Procurement Office, 312 Rosa L. Parks Ave. 3rd Floor, Wm. R. Snodgrass TN Tower, Nashville, TN 37243. Each bidder shall be properly licensed and abide by the provisions of TCA 62-6-119 including part (b) which states in part Special notice to disadvantaged business enterprises (dbe) firms - all qualified disadvantaged business enterprises (dbe) firms desiring to bid as a general contractor, sub-contractor, professional service provider, supplier, or equipment vendor are encouraged to contact the dbe office listed above to review bidding/contract documents. In compliance with TCA 12-4-126(a) and (b), the ENGINEER will not issue addenda less than forty-eight (48) hours before the bid opening date and time.
