B446 Galley Roof Replacement

The scope of this project includes the replacement of 300 sq. ft. of roofing, fully cleaning the existing EDPM roof, re-adhere any seams and overlaps prior to installing new fluid applied membrane. Thermal scans to be conducted as well to identify any wet areas. If wet areas are found, cut out the area and replace insulation and single ply EDPM membrane with new, matching existing height and thickness. Remove all existing walk pads and prep areas for new fluid applied membrane. New fluid applied membrane will be installed over all existing EDPM single ply membrane surfaces, vertical and horizontal and incidental related work Performance is to take place on at Naval Submarine Base New London in Groton, CT The work is located at the Building 446 (Galley) Naval Submarine Base Groton, CT, approximately as indicated. The exact location will be shown by the Contracting Officer. DURATION: 365 DAYS LIQUIDATED DAMAGES: $400.00 PER DAY SITE VISIT: IMPORTANT Tuesday, 22 August 2023 10:00 AM EST at the Naval Submarine Base New London, CT. Visitor requests must be received no later than 1 PM EST, 21 August 2023 via e-mail to: rebecca.j.spaulding.civ@us.navy.mil and gerard.j.wilkins.civ@us.navy.mil RFIs must be submitted in writing utilizing the attached RFI form (Attachment I) via email to rebecca.j.spaulding.civ@us.navy.mil.
