West Plant Gallery Roof Drain Piping Replacement

This project consists of the removal of insulated cast iron roof drain piping and replacing portions with insulated polyvinyl chloride (PVC) roof drain piping. The existing roof drainage piping insulation was tested for asbestos; none was detected. The work includes insulation exterior painting and labeling and is limited to the areas indicated on the Special Attachments. All questions related to this proposed contract, pre-bid presentation, site tour (if offered) or interested bidders list must be directed in writing to Millie Neidhardt, eneidhardt@mmsd.com, no later than 3 days before the bid opening date. Questions directed to other contacts at the District will not be recognized. The project consists of the removal of the following quantities of insulated cast iron roof drain piping: 155 lineal feet of 3 Inch 312 lineal feet of 4 Inch 89 lineal feet of 5 Inch 275 lineal feet of 6 Inch With the replacement of the following quantities of insulated polyvinyl chloride (PVC) roof drain piping: 467 lineal feet of 4 Inch 364 lineal feet of 6 Inch The existing roof drainage piping insulation was tested for asbestos; none was detected.
