Description

Install hot mix asphalt (HMA) at numerous isolated locations in various parks of City. The work includes either: the placement of HMA on dense graded aggregate for either new walkways or locations where the City has removed the existing asphalt due to deterioration or damage. Contractor shall proof-roll the stone base at these locations prior to placement ofthree inches (3 " ) compacted HMA. Ifthe stone is unsatisfactory, the Contractor shall notify the inspector immediately and the City will repair any deficiencies in the stone base.the placement of HMA overlay the entire width of existing walkways. Contractor shall cut tie-ins where needed and place tack coat on existing asphalt. Contractor shall place two inches (2") compacted HMA overlay.
