| Description | A. Remove existing roof system in its entirety to expose the existing tectum deck. Dispose of old material as per requirements for local, state and federal regulations. Replace rotted/damaged decking in kind. All proposers should carry $5,000 allowance for the replacement of Rotted/Damaged Decking. B. Nail one layer of Type II Base Sheet to deck. Adhere 2 layers of 2.5 inch polyisocyanurate (25 LBS PSI) insulation. Fastening pattern to meet wind code speeds for roof area C. Cold Applied –Adhere 1 layer of ½ inch fiberboard in insulation adhesive. Wood nailers to be added to match the height of the new insulation assembly. All crickets to be ½” per foot D. Install new 80 mil modified base sheet in VOC compliant cold applied adhesive E. Install FR Mineral Modified Membrane in VOC compliant cold applied adhesive F. Apply 2 coats of non-fibered aluminum coating after the full cure of the roof adhesive G. Install new 1 piece gutter system as indicated on drawings with a 30 warranty H. Install new flashings as per drawings and manufacturers specifications I. Remove and replace all roof drains indicated on drawings with new drains as per manufacturer of the roof system |
