Barrett Station Early Head Start Center Site Work and Utilities Project

Harris County Department of Education ("HCDE") is seeking Competitive Sealed Proposals from qualified proposers to provide construction services for the construction of site work and utilities at HCDE's New Early Head Start Center located at 808 1/2 Magnolia Ave., Crosby, Texas 77532. Each Proposer must submit the following items in duplicate, to the office of the Architect no later than 2:00 P.M., September 22nd, 2022: a. A properly executed and current Contractor's Qualification Statement, AIA Document A305, including at least 10 references with the names of contact persons, telephone numbers and email addresses; b. A list of projects currently being constructed and projects completed within the last 5 years; include the name of the Owner, date completed, construction cost, Owners contact and Architect's contact. Include telephone numbers and email addresses for all contacts and references; c. A resume for the Proposer's proposed Project Manager, stating his/her qualifications and experience on projects of similar scope and size; and d. A resume for the Proposer's proposed Project Superintendent, stating his/her qualifications and experience on projects of similar scope and size. Anticipated Award Date 10/19/2022 3:00:00 PM Question Cuttoff Date and Time 9/22/2022 04:00:00 PM (AT) Project Overview and Scope: Harris County Department of Education ("HCDE" or "Owner") is seeking Competitive Sealed Proposals from qualified proposers to provide construction services for the construction of site work and utilities at HCDE's Early Head Start Center located at 808 1/2 Magnolia Ave., Crosby, Texas 77532. The project scope of work consists of the preparation of the site and utilities for a new modular building. The modular building will be provided under a separate contract by HCDE and is not a part of this RFP. The new 4,680 square foot modular building for the new Early Head Start Center will consist of four (4) classrooms, one (1) office space, a laundry facility, and a kitchen, to satisfy 32 infants/toddlers. The Project consists of site improvements, including grading, site drainage, underground utilities, and the addition of a detention pond, approximately 0.3 acres of development. This project consists of construction services to provide site drainage utilities, and site improvements, including, without limitation, the following: (1) Connect Modular Building to existing HCDE systems; (2) Installation of exterior mounted equipment and accessories; (3) Final keying; (4) Reasonable repairs of ground or grade at Site due to trailer staging or delivery of modular building; (5) Furnish and install all materials and labor necessary to prepare the modular building for integration with existing work at the site (including without limitation ramps, landings, canopies, sidewalks, building skirts and building systems as per drawings and specifications).
