HVAC Renovations at Oak Ridge School - Sub Bid

The Sandwich School District, through its School Committee, the Awarding Authority, Massachusetts, will receive sealed bids for HVAC RENOVATIONS AT OAK RIDGE SCHOOL, 260 QUAKER MEETING HOUSE ROAD #1376, SANDWICH, Massachusetts, in accordance with the Contract Documents prepared by BLW Engineers, Inc., P.O. Box 1551 - 311 Great Road, Littleton, MA 01460. Bidding procedures shall be in accordance with the provisions of Massachusetts General Laws, Chapter 149, Section 44A through Section 44I, inclusive, and State Laws, Chapter 30, Section 39F, G, K, N, O, P, Q, R.General Bids will only be considered from bidders holding a Certificate of Eligibility from the Division of Capital Asset Management and Maintenance in the category of Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning (HVAC) and in a single project amount higher than the amount of the Bid. General Bids must be accompanied by a copy of the Contractor's Certificate of Eligibility, an Update Statement, Certificate of Authority, Certificate of Good Faith, Certification of Payment of Taxes, Non-Collusion Affidavit and OSHA Compliance Affidavit. Filed sub-bids in the category of Electrical must be accompanied by a copy of the Contractor's Certificate of Eligibility for the category of work of the Sub-bid, an Update Statement, Certificate of Authority, Certificate of Good Faith, Certification of Payment of Taxes and Non-Collusion Affidavit. Sealed bids for the Sub-bid Contract will be received at the Office of the Director of Facilities, 33 Water Street, Sandwich, Massachusetts 02573, until 1:30 P.M. on April 19, 2023 after which time all bids will be opened and read aloud. Bids shall be accompanied by a bid bond, or cash, or certified check on, or treasurer's or cashier's check issued by a responsible bank or trust company, payable to the Sandwich School District, Sandwich, Massachusetts, in the amount of five percent (5%) of the bid amount. Bid Bonds shall be T-Listed; Surety company(ies) shall be listed in the U.S. Treasury Department Circular 570, most recent edition, as amended. Prevailing wages are to be paid on the work of the project in accordance with the Schedules issued by the Massachusetts Commissioner of Labor and Industries of which are contained in the Contract Documents are made part of the Contract. Additional copies of the schedule are available from the Awarding Authority upon request.
