Chandler Road Near Olympic Boulevard Culvert Replacement - STM-40 - City of Statesboro

This location experiences flooding events consistently during heavy rains. This stormwater has flood the the nearby parking lots including vehicles. It is believed that the culvert under Chandler Road is undersized and will need to be upgraded. This project will include a drainage study, to appropriately size the culvert and any other structures needed, easement, and utility relocations needed to upgrade the culvert. This project is in included in the City's or County's FY 2023-2028 Capital Improvement Plan (CIP). As of September 24, 2022, further details regarding design and construction have not been identified. *Project information has been obtained through a public capital improvement plan (CIP). A CIP is a financial schedule for short- and long-range projects which is updated regularly. Information listed in the CIP often evolves based on funding availability and the project details, including timeline and value, are subject to change.
