Description | *As of January 31, 2023, a design/builder has been awarded. The Notice to Proceed was issued on September 14, 2022. Construction is scheduled to be completed by May 2025. The closed solicitation has been included below for reference: The purpose for this Request for Qualifications (RFQ) is to solicit Qualifications from Design-Build Firms in accordance with Florida Statutes 287.055, and the intent of the County is to select a Design-Build Firm to provide design-build services to design, permit, and construct a new Water Reclamation Facility (WRF) adjacent to the Tillman Ridge Landfill located at 3005 Allen Nease Road, Elkton, FL 32033, to consolidate the wastewater flows from the State Road 207 service area and portions of the Anastasia Island wastewater service area, as well as major transmission pipeline and master lift stations to divert wastewater flow to the new WRF and convey the highly treated reclaimed water from the WRF to the County's reclaimed water service areas. This solicitation is under a Black Out Period, which means any and all questions, inquiries and communications pertaining to this solicitation must be directed, in writing, to the Designated Point of Contact identified in the RFQ Documents. Communications with any other County Staff, including any member(s) of the Board of County Commissioners is grounds for disqualification. St. Johns County reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids/proposals, waive minor formalities, or award the bid/proposal which best serves the interests of St. Johns County. |
