ADA Pedestrian Crossway - Field of Dreams (Multi Box Culvert) Project

Principal Construction Includes Concrete Box Culverts and Sidewalks. Bidders shall submit with their bids a Cashier's Check in the amount of five percent (5%) of the maximum total bid, payable to the City of Del Rio, Texas without recourse, or a Proposal Bond in the same amount from a reliable Surety Company as a guarantee that Bidder will enter into a contract and execute payment and performance bonds on the forms provided, within ten (10) days after the award of Contract. Bids without check or Proposal Bond will not be considered. The successful Bidder must furnish a Payment Bond and Performance Bond in the amount of 100% of the contract price from an approved Surety Company holding a permit from the State of Texas to act as Surety and acceptable according to the latest list of companies holding certificates of authority from the Secretary of Treasury of the United States, or other Surety or Sureties acceptable to the Owner. Attention is called to the fact that not less than the federally determined prevailing (Davis-Bacon and Related Acts) wage rates as issued by the Department of Labor and contained in the contract documents must be paid on this project. In addition, the successful bidder must ensure that employees and applicants for employment are not discriminated against because of race, color, religion, sex, age, or national origin. All suppliers, vendors, etc. who are debarred, suspended or otherwise excluded from or ineligible for participation on federal assistance programs may not undertake any activity in part or in full under this project. The City of Del Rio reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive informalities. No bid may be withdrawn within sixty (60) days after the date on which bids are received.

Division 32 -	Exterior Improvements, Bases, Ballasts, and Paving, Flexible Paving, Asphalt Paving, Rigid Paving, Concrete Paving, Curbs, Gutters, Sidewalks, and Driveways.
Division 33 -	Utilities, Storm Drainage Utilities, Ponds and Reservoirs.
Division 35 -	Waterway and Marine Construction, Shoreline Protection, Waterway Construction and Equipment.
